INDIA, Post-Mauryan (Malwa). Ujjain. Circa 2nd century BC. AE (Bronze, 16 mm, 4.26 g). Lord Shiva as Mahakal standing facing, holding stick in his right hand and kalasha (sacred pot) in his left; in field to right, nandi; six-armed symbol and four-orbed Ujjain symbol; in field to left, tree in railing; below, river. Rev. Four-orbed Ujjain symbol with a swastika in each angle. Pieper 271 (this coin). Very rare. Minor flan faults, otherwise, very fine.
